Here are some shots of one of the older Gauchos I got in a package freebie deal some time ago. I got this A151, and an HP251 Gaucho Sport. Both were in terrible shape, one of them had a hack wiring job on it, the other was a little better. Was able to get one recall package done on this one, the other was missing the connectors.
A few months and some effort later they are both up and running.
Here is the A151 in it's starting condition.

Here it is after new wiring, cleaned up and paint. Still missing the hood.

And here it is finished for now. Grande wheels on it, they fit with just some homeade spacers to tighten the fit. The light wiring harness was there so have it hooked up, will be changing out the standard bulbs for leds shortly.

Thanks all,
The diamond plate is just vinyl decals. Got it off ebay. I had originally got it to go above the kick plate where the kids get in and out, but decided after getting it to add it to the rear.
This is the company's website I ordered from. http://www.metrodecals.com/store/html/Products/Specialty-Vinyl-9/Diamond-Plate-Vinyl-69/Mini-Chrome-Diamond-Pla-73/Mini-Chrome-Diamond-Pla-44.html
KrazyJuice,
The bulbs that are used in the gaucho are just 168/194 wedge based 12v auto bulbs, like used in dome lights. You can get LED based wedge bulbs, that's what I've ordered to go in it. To cut down on the heat and the power draw.
If you want these still let me know. |
