has anyone added springs or shocks to their cars? my daughters car (dodge viper) is pretty shakey when going over cracks at a local parking where there is nothing around. it bothers me to hear it rattle (everything is as tight as it can be) and i just want to give her a better ride.
i thought about adding springs because when i took off the front axle part, there was an area where i could have springs fit perfectly.
any thoughts, recommendations, personal exp., etc would be super helpful.

btw, i added the leds to the fog light area after her first ride. |

The Peg Gaucho’s have rear suspension standard, this is achieved by housing the gearboxes in a separate motor pan and articulating it with the main floor pan.
The easiest way to improve ride would be to add rubber traction bands or better still replace the plastic wheels with inflatable rubber ones. If you went down this path though it would be recommended to soften the brake and/or add a separate brake pedal. Also a variable throttle would be advantageous.

well that viper has a metal frame so if you dont mind some cutting and fabbing, you could use some softer chinese pocket bike shocks/springs or some time of rod with a spring from a tractor supply for a cheaper route. i have the vette and want a viper BAD! |
