well this one i bought for my daughter for $5 off craigslist, goo gone off the bad stickers and cleaned it up. i decided the color and condition was good enough and left that aspect alone, but i did mod it to 12v and put in a led rocker switch in the dash, cut the key hole bigger to fit her "princess keys" and put 6 white leds in each headlight, 6 blue inside the cabin and 20 blue leds underneath it for the neon glow effect.
this thing lights up like a ufo and everybody slows waaaay down to check it out and a few people have asked where i bought it, so needless to say, i may have a small side business going on here soon.
here it is.
4 in the floor, 2 under the dash
i still plan to put some disney princess stickers on it and some red led tail lights, probably 5 or 6 in each tail light. so far i think i have $20 into it including the $5 for the vehicle itself.
the whole body glows a ghostly greyish blue at night, trust me some of the next few i do are going to be outrageous. i wanted to start with the smaller ones first.
i know how they are done, but never tried ghost flames....yet. my dad is a pro painter and i am letting him paint my 66' pontiac kandy blue with grey ghost flames next year.
bring it on over, i have big plans for our gaucho also, the gauchos should be a little more fun then a jeep, plus they have lenses for the lights.
figured i would update this project with a video from late last fall. we ran it on 18v for 10 min or so to see what it could do and here it is, one of the fastest single motor 6v vehicles.
