Most Power Wheel vehicles have 550 sized motors. These motors are approximately 57mm in length an 37mm in diameter. Older Power Wheels like metal framed Jeeps that utilize the #4 gearbox came with 700 sized motors. These motors are approximately 76mm in length and 44mm in diameter.
Peg Perego vehicles come with either 550 or 700 series motors, and newer Peg Vehicles like the Polaris Sportsman 700 come with a 650 series motor. These have the same diameter as a 550 (37mm) but have a longer can and are approximately 65mm long.
Mounting holes for the 550/650 motors are the same - 1" apart. Mounting holes for the 700 series motors are 1 & 1/8" apart.
