Ok, got the Hurricane today from my local Wall-E World and have taken it out of the box and dismantled the whole thing. Here are the pics if anyone ever wondered what a Hurricane looked like from the inside.
Parts in the bag and the tires will not be painted, but the hubcaps will be.
Everything on this table will be painted.
Again painted, except the last 2 engine parts at the far right.
This will be glossy white when I"m done with it.
Everything here will stay the same.
Looks like my pool table is becoming my official working bench. LOL |

Sorry the pics aren't bigger. The camera was set to a different resolution than what I normally have it set at. Here's Phase 1 completed! Kill switch seems to be working like a charm, though we didn't have to use it much. He was more interested in playing with the buttons and turning the key than driving. Phase 2 will consist of working head/tail lights. Ok here are the pics:

Super nice man..........I am so not gonna let my son see this lol.
Its bad enuf he hounds me every day to finish his john deer tractor since i seen it do a wheelie lol. now i need to just find me a gear switch for it lol. |

WOW... At 1st I was not sold, then when it can together, S-O-L-D... Hope to get over to wal-e-world and pick up one soon, but my mod is going to be RC.

| Well I tried it the other day and I can scratch it easily with my fingernail. I haven't put the top coat on (the color I want it to be) is this normal or did I do something wrong. I thought it was suppose to "fuse" to it. |

What did the directions say about cure time, I know Fusion takes 5 days to fully cure, not sure about teh Plastic Primer |

Ok here the steps I took:
Sanded with the finest paper I could find
Wiped off all the excess sanding material off with very little paint thinner
Applied the RUST-OLEUM PLastic primer paint
Then applied the paint I wanted, which was still RUST-OLEUM brand paint.
Last but not least applied the RUST-OLEUM Lacquer coat.
I made sure to let each process dry for a full day and did 2 coats of each paint, which should help to protect it.

Yeah I just scratched in a hidden spot to see what was going on. Its only been a day so we shall see how the scratching goes in 5 days  |

Hey all sorry it's been so long since I've spoken to any of ya! Been really busy with work and all. Just wanted to stop in anD show you what the little man will be getting for his B-day on the 19th of this month. It will complete his outfit way better than that stupid blow-up jet pack!

| Sorry to kick up this old thread but I wanted to say what a nice job the Buzz Lightyear mod went. Wonderful job (paint and stickers). Very cool. (Ballsy on a brand new PW too...) |

| I know this post is old but maybe someone knows as to what exact colors he used on this "FREAKIN AWESOME" (according to my 5 year old) hurricane. I have a silverado that he wants me to start upgrading for him so he can have a 2 seater so he can have his "girlfriend" ride with him. Thanks. |
