Hi there,
I've been reading all of your posts for several days trying to figure out the best PW for my daughter who will turn 5 this month. She currently has the old Barbie Quad (no mods) and she is beyond bored with it. We live in the woods, so the thing gets stuck more than it goes. Max speed with stock battery is 3.5mph. Are there any mods that we can do for this? My husband is exceptionally handy with mechanical/electrical stuff. If not, we'd like to buy her something new with more power. I was looking at the Kawasaki Brute Force Power Wheels or the Peg Perego X2. I don't think she's ready for a "true" ATV. Thoughts?
Thanks,
matdam

Hmmm I would be just about considering a 50cc off road buggy, esp. if you have the area to use it.

I would think it would depend on the terrain the child will be riding on. The peg ATV has crummy slick traction but is good for street riding ... the brute force would be better for offroad driving.

+1 It sounds like she might be ready for a small "real" ATV/Buggy. If you get her another PW she'll be bored with it within a year or so.
