I have a friend that has a power wheels for her son and daughter and they have little metal tags on the front and back with the kids names on them... I cannot find a metal tag anywhere that is small enough to fit my girls power wheels and was wondering if you could tell me where I could get one? Thanks a bunch!

if its a common name then you can usually find the tags at a local novelty shop, but if its not common and they had them made, then i would try and ask them where they got theres. the custom plates that some on here have made have mostly been card board with some film on top to keep them water tight. if your looking for metal, we would like to know what you find out, so far they have been hard to find.

Thanks for your reply! The names on her car is real metal but her daughers name is uncommon so I know they had to have them made... I have asked her where she got them from but she said she didn't know her father-in-law got them for her and he wouldn't tell where he got them. But I really want a set for my girls too, LOL.

Toys R Us sell these little state license plates...

If the name you are not needing is not available - then they sell a blank version that comes with the black letters so that you can put the name you want on them.

Thanks,
Bonner

This place has license plates you can get from any state and customized names. I'm guessing they are plastic though.

And this site has plastic state plates with stickers to add your childs name.

I ordered 2 from that Team Logo site. I liked that they were just like real license plates. I'm ok with them being plastic, at least I know they won't rust. I'll let you know how they look when they arrive.

I got my tags from teamlogo today, and they are really nice. bigger then the normal power wheels tag location, but I knew they would be. I'll probably make a little bracket to hold them. They are thick plastic, nearly 1/8", and feel very sturdy. The colors are spot on with the real tags, but look a little off with the flash here.

Those look pretty nice. You can find ones on Ebay too, they will personalize them , name, color of font, etc, and pick state, etc. If you don't like a state's new style plate, they can make older style plates, which I had them do, since i collect real license plates, and wanted some of the older styles. They are plastic too, i've bought a few for Colin's vehicles.

I bought from this guy, he has different sizes 3x6 and 7x4 available, I got the 3x6.
