Here's what "daddy" rides, having a son with a modified power wheels insures me that he will be ready some day for this kind of speed. Here's a pic from last weeks race in a WKA Go Kart Race in Charlotte, N.C. I am #88 with brother-in-law behind in #10

My father-in-law got me into it, he just passed away at 47 years old RIP. As far as websites go, really don't have any besides the tracks I race at. Libertyraceway.com is one place I race and they have a good amount of info and pics.

100+ mph in one of those...holy crap! HOpe they got lots of bails of hay around.
Sitting in those, you look like little kids, it's weird how it tricks your eyes.

Yeah there's plenty of stuff to run into like hay, barrels, mounds of dirt etc. The way the seat is mounted makes you sit as low as possible for more aerodynamics, your almost laying down. Trust me @ 100+ you want to be that low, too much force on the head to be sitting any other way.

We should make this the official "daddy ride" thread. Post yourself in/on your favorite car/motorcycle/race car/4 wheeler/airplane, you get the idea.
Make sure and post your ugly mug too. We want to see what all you "anonymous" posters look like.
Treebeme, I always pictured you as a scrawny little guy....I don't know why though.

Which toys?
Daily Driver (yawn) 3/4 ton, 454, 4x4

Wheelers? Wife on 300EX on the left, me on 400EX on the right:

Snowmobiles? Mine on left, 150 HP and 120 mph out of the box. Wife's on the right, will carve corners like nothing else, and skis in the air on demand.

Water sports? Old Glastron not shown....

Toy Hauler (background): 2006 Holiday Rambler "Next Level" 31CK, very well equipped. 10,000 lbs empty, hence the 3/4 ton sub above.

R/C's?

This my my toy. She has 6 trophies out of 8 car shows she's been in. Will outrun a Mustang GT with no problem and still has room for a carseat and the groceries. Although she stays in the garage except when we want to go out for fun.

Chopper, yeah theres a good amount of pipes for the intercooler and turbos. Lucky I found a speed shop that made the twin turbo kit for my car, a little more pricey but the kit works great. Waiting for bigger injectors to up my psi, but working on son's power wheels so no time as of now.

In the latest issue of Hot Rod there is a guy that has a Mustang that has a turbo from a John Deere tractor and various other John Deere parts. If I remember correctly he is either in the 9's or 10's with it, and it cost very little.

John deer eh? sounds like he got off cheap if he used parts off his tractor. I have saw some impressive numbers at the track off stock twins Chopper, I have made it to mid-high 11's in the mustang. Hopefully with the bigger injectors I'll make it that much closer to 10's, but like you said big bucks. You would think injectors were not that expensive but the set I need will run me $1300!!! And thats kinda crazy for me right now so sticking with what I got.

Some of ya'll got some sweet toys! I made the hubby sell his Harley when we got married to pay for the honeymoon/wedding in Hawaii! Now we just got a 91 Miata (freshly painted red) & 2007 Jeep Commander.
We just borrow my dad's toys (2 Quad's), let him pay the upkeep, gas & haul them with his trailer. If we get back up there soon I'll take some pics, I haven't got to ride in over a year. Even Colin has his own little Honda 50CC quad waiting when he's old enough, still got the plastic wrap on it, LOL, been sitting in my dad's garage since he was born.

Ah, miatas. Before the supra I had a 92 miata (freshly painted red as well). I loved the car, just not enough power, I do miss it from time to time though.

When I am chasing Liam around the yard I have my 800Watt electric pocket bike which is a lot of fun.

I also have an Urban X go kart that I upgraded to 350Watt but is now due for another upgrade.

The only one's that worked in the pic are the quad, the bike, and the harley. I just got the f-150 back up today. I used the hummer's rear tires and gear boxes for that. I had to do some cutting to make that work. Gearboxes suck.lol. I'm in the process of getting the gaucho back up but finding a high torque gear box has been trouble. I can get them from Peg but I have do comply with the recall first. I am waiting on the kit now.

At the moment I only have the Zed is only running at .95bar/14psi. I am hoping to upgrade the ECU then I should be able to run 1.2bar/18psi.
Unfortunately I haven’t has the opportunity to run it on the ¼, there are not a huge number of places you can go here. Stock they run .65bar/9.5psi boost and can do the ¼ in 13.9secs but they are not really setup as a drag car and are restricted to 208kw/280hp so you really need to mod them to get some decent performance.
At the moment I live 3.7kms/2.2mi from work so I don’t really get a chance to open it up, but before I moved I use to easily beat my bothers WRX even when he got a good launch. It is very rare to come across another car that is faster. I will admit I do enjoy it when someone in their Ford or Holden (GM) V8 tries to show off only to get left in the dust.
The people I feel sorry for are the new 350Z owners who try to justify spending AU$70k on their new car only to lose a 0 - 100kph/60mph by 8 car lengths.

Nice rides. It seems that the passion to work these kids rides comes from our passion for rides in general. Here are my rides. The MG convertible did not have enough seats after Justin was born, so I just had to get the Cougar convertible. The motorcycle did not have any place for Justin, now 4 years old, so I added a side car.

ya know i was a little miffed at the color choice you had for your kids beatle, but looking at what you have in real cars i say it fits perfectly, and the fact that you have all VW's in your possesion is awsome. good choice, good cars.
