Ok, not sure if this topic exists already , but I haven't seen one since I"ve been on here.
Post some pics of your kid(s) riding their PW's, Perego's, etc!
Here's Colin last month, this is his favorite to ride, and it's easier to steer than the other vehicles he has. He'll be 2 next week, so he's not good at steering yet, but he can turn it a bit, so I usually gotta run alongside him the entire time. He loves going over the bumps in the grass.
This is a Super 6 Volt Sport Tracker Power Wheel.
I will take more as he rides more of his vehicles, as most his trucks he can barely reach the pedal yet , so he gets in and gets upset he can't reach, then goes back to the quad.

Great pics! Grant, what type/size helmet is your son wearing (where'd you get it)? I'm searching for a helmet for Colin for next year.
I love the actual lights you guys have on yours, trying to get the hubby to do that on Colin's vehicles, at least the cool ones like the Gaucho. |

At four years old can he drive the Gaucho pretty good? Colin is only going to be 2 next week, I'm hoping by next year at 3, he can handle the Gaucho, as I really want to see how it handles.

| He didn't want to drive it at the beginning of the summer. now its the only thing he wants to drive. Although I am on the verge of getting him an eliminator for $45 if thats a good deal. What do you think? |

All kids are different and develop at different rates. My son started driving his Gaucho at 2 without any issues while I have seen some 4 year olds struggle to drive smaller vehicles. You should be able to get a feel of how well they drive and when they are ready for the Gaucho.

Now that he is 3 I have upgraded the Gaucho to 18volts.

Great pics, wow, didn't know so many had the Gaucho's on here, awesome!! By far the coolest one in my mind.
Eliminator/Extreme Machine is a deal for $45, I only paid $25 for mine, which was a steal practially brand new. I've been seeing them go for double that on Ebay, some crazy Ebayer's even want like $200 for them!!
I think this winter when Colin is itching to go outside, we'll bring out the Gaucho. |

Millino, that's what Power wheels should be used for :) That looks like alot of fun! I see you are new here, but is that just a regular 12Volt Gaucho, or does it have more power (18V or 24V) ?
Yeah Chopper, Colin actually doesn't like to go outside without his hat & sunglasses, he's like me, our eyes are ultra sensitive to light, maybe we're vampires or something

Colinsmom, those Gauchos are modified to 4WD. Watch the video link, it is pretty cool. Unfortunately I don't think that Millino's English is too good. I think he doesn't like to post too much because of that. I would love to see more of his stuff. Millino, please post here as much as possible. I love the four wheel drive mods.

I bought all the parts to convert my sons Gaucho to AWD but he seems to enjoy speed over cross country driving so I have had to reconsider my plans.
That AWD Gaucho is pretty impressive though, with some more traction it would be unstoppable.

Millino's Gaucho is by far the nicest offroad vehicle I have seen on here. I have always thought the silver Gaucho's were the best looking jeeps. The four wheel drive is amazing. I loved watching the whole 18 minutes of the little fellow playing in it.

Bad English is no reason not to post :) Heck , sadly most Americans can't even write/speak/talk their own language very good. Must say though, I LOVE ITALIAN :)
Good to know that's 4 x 4, so I don't go putting Colin on his and expecting him to do those things!

I would LOVE to see how it was done in the front. I have the yellow one which I have abused so badly that next year I would love to do a 4X4 version with 2 motors on each rear gearbox and possible 2 on each front one but space may be an issue. I have some awesome treads already on there which are perfect for offroading. I would 18V as well.
The Polaris 700 ATV I already have running with threads is amazing offroading on 18V. The 4 wheel suspension on that one helps it a lot. No room for sure to do gearboxes on front of that one.
Awesome stuff! Wish I had time and it was easier for me to transfer my video of my kid on the atv.

He wins most of the time, only because he's lighter! Believe it or not, I can't get them to race each other very often, but they'll race anybody else!!!

I took this video last fall of my son driving the race car that I turned into a Dale Jr. from a Jeff Gordon car. He could do some great burnouts and spins with the 18 volt conversion I did, it even had a five point harness in it. I ended up selling it to a guy who practically begged to buy it. I tried to get another on off eBay and the guy tried to bilk me on shipping charges so it will be in the dump somewhere in Ohio, it's a shame.

First of all TankYou for compliments. Excused for my English but I am using a translator web ( http://babelfish.altavista.com/ ), for this reason I do not write often.
The Gaucho of my son still works to 12v, even if the system electrical worker has been made new increased for the greater absorption of tension that the 4 motors need, and comes commant all from relč, one general from 70A and others n° 4 from 30A with shunter that replace the switches under the gear lever.
The front wheels are stopped on a new chassis in iron constructed from me, the photos are still of the prototype, hour have rifared it on Bearings (will follow detailed photo because to september I will take apart all for maintenance).
http://foto.fuoristrada.it/preparazione-gaucho
Fortunately pieces of reciprocation in Italy of the Gaucho are many economic, (the Peg Perego construct in Italy) even if for the entire elaboration I have spold how much to buy of an other.
Hour a friend has bought a Super Gaucho Power 24V, is beginning to buy pieces in order to elaborate that one, but the motors and telephone exchange to 24V are still too much expensive, will follow photo
I do not know like inserting the photos, if you want to insert them pure fairies, I have pleasure here to share them with you!!!
Hello from Italy and it compliments for the situated one web!!!!!! |

That Diablo is pretty cool, I'm like, wow, I've never seen these before, then I look where some of you are from (outside the US), and I know why, goes along with all the different real cars that are available outside the US, but not here.

Hi all, i'm new here and enjoy all the kids rideons like you are. Maybe I'll be more specific if I say, that this is my kids dream come true in age of 32 . So first I do is to show you what my son is riding. It's used Perego Diablo, which I rebuild to 12V car battery with 44Ah. That is enough power for many hours of riding... This car is (for me) even better than Gaucho Jeeps... you know - doors, trunk, looks...

Welcome to the site. Just so you know though, we do not like automotive batteries in our children's ride ons. We can't stop people from doing it, but we always advise against it.

...yeah I know what you mean, here in my place is this rebuild very common. For safety, the engine door is "locked" and battery is fixed on place, car is very stable and my son is driving only under supervision. All I can do about it... Lead acid battery needs to be charged almost every day and that is very timetaking

Here's a video of Colin, my first one I've done using editing.
It's only 27 seconds long, as I spliced various parts of the video together to edit my husband & I chasing after Colin out of the video, as he's not great at steering really well yet, so we're in like 99% of the video chasing him down, these were the only parts of him by himself!
Used to be a Super 6V system, now it's 12Volts, thing is FAST when the battery is fresh!
