Wow! Came out of a Hurricane my buddy bought for his son. Ad said it just needed a good battery and it would be ready to ride, haha! This was the left (driver's) side GB .... the right side, believe it or not, was unharmed.

You should be able to fix that right up by using some duct tape or wire ties.

Believe it or not ... the previous owner had squirted "Great Stuff" foam sealant into the areas around the gearboxes for some reason. Looked like some feeble atempt to hold things in place .... it obviously didn't help hold the gears inside the gearbox :O)
