Hi. I am mom to a 3yr old little girl who wants a shiny red mustang with a horn and lights from Santa. So, I got the stuff I need to install a horn, I think. My first question is what do you all use for ground on these little cars? I have to say this is my first wiring job. Next, for the headlights...I have searched and searched and from what I have seen I am thinking the best idea is to use either flashlight or landscape lights. I definitely want to use led's. I want a switch for her and like I said, skills are limited. Antone care to explain how I can do this? Thanks in advance.

Ground is the negative battery terminal.

Put the switch on the positive line going to the lights.
