Does anyone make aftermarket replacement batteries that fit the same as OEM Power Wheels batteries? I have one of the Gruber 12v 12ah batteries and although it works in some of my vehicles (Aftershock Jeep, Ninja Quad, etc that have huge battery compartments, it doesn't fit into other vehicles like my Mustang, Hurricane and Grave Digger.

It sucks to have to hack up the stock battery compartments to accomodate batteries that are just "slighty" too long to fit. I just bought an excellent condition Grave Digger and the thought of taking a dremel tool to the battery compartment gives me nightmares.

Just wish the Gruber batteries had the same "footprint" as the stock PW batteries. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have two Powertron batteries - they are the same size as the stock battery and last about 50% longer.
They're not cheap, at just about the same price as a stock battery, but a much better deal, IMHO.
