I have a set of Peg Perego gearboxes I am putting into the new project, but I noticed that the pentagon drivers are not slotted like the PW ones. I did some digging and found pics of the Peg Perego drive hubs, and there is no easy way to make these work with the wheels we are using.

Has anyone used a dremel to slot the Pentagon drivers in the Peg gearboxes to allow use of the PW driver hubs? Can anyone think of a reason it wouldn't work?

Thanks!

- Matt

I don't know that I have seen it done but folks mod stuff all the time to make it work. Sometimes folks take a drivers and cut them in half to mount them together to use different wheels with different drivers.

Just be careful cutting on your output gear, the gearboxes are the most expensive part to replace.

can you give more details of what you are wanting to use on what vehicle?

yeah I cut the dome part off the peg iner hub so it was flat then screwed it onto the new none peg wheel & the gearbox then of course fitted the new wheel.
