While searching CL for used PWs to pull parts from for my Barbie Jeep to Rock Crawler Jr. Conversion
I ran across a deal on two of these Jeeps that I just couldn't pass up. The plan is for this Blitz Jeep to be the introduction vehicle for my son when he is big enough to use a steering wheel. Since this PW doesn't need any desissifying and works perfectly fine, I don't plan on modding it right now. The second Jeep was given to a friend of mine who had a son around the same time.

When researching this Jeep prior to purchasing, I could find many pictures or much info on it. This thread will act more as a pictorial and possibly a build thread if it gets to that point. I will try to include any helpful info that I might have. Feel free to correct me.

Yes, the gauges are installed a little crooked.

Just a little fun
Not much articulation with the wheels rigidly mounted. The only flex comes from the plastic unibody.

So, who put the sticker on upside down?

You'll want to hit the For Sale forum and get an extra 3A gearbox and motor to convert it two 2WD - so it won't get stuck in the grass.

Escalade (Rubber tires, LED lights, Key switch, Remote Kill, wings. Wings?)
Lil Wrangler (2WD, 12v, Lights), Dora Jeep (Super-6 @ 12v, lights), Jeep Enforcer turned Aftershock (18v, WIP),
Grape Gaucho A151 (24v, scooter controller, WIP)
KFX Quad (Remote Kill), Crushmeister! (Silverado), Limited Edition Jeep (Stock)
Kawasaki Mojave 250 (Stock), PP Gator (Lights), Home Depot Loader, Lightning McQueen (Stock)

I wish I could have been the one to put the stickers on. The crooked guages and headlight are driving the OCD side of me crazy.

Yea, my 4 year old neice took it for a spin last night. The 6 volt system is pretty gutless. It could barely push her around in the grass much less enough power to break one of the wheels loose. I definetly see a 12V and 2WD conversion in the future.

I have two of the larger Barbie Jeeps that I am taking apart to make one. I should be able to use the wiring, shifter, and gear boxes from one of them for the conversion. It might be easier to pick up another 3A gear box, but I already have these. The bigger gearboxes will be geared lower than the 3A but I have the larger ~10" tires to go with it. I haven't had a chance to pull the wheels off yet. Are the interlocking hubs of the smaller tires on the Blitz Jeep interchangeable with the larger tires?

Yes, all the Power Wheels use the same wheel driver.
It's not easy putting the #7 gearboxes under the Lil Jeep, but it has been done.

I just put a set of Super6 motors on 3A gearboxes in mine, and it flies!
