Hi all.
Just got a new to my son unused gator a week ago. It was a store display model that i got for $80.00 bucks and only missing right dump bed handle! Score!! :) I took it apart and put it together right (The people that originally put together just didn't do it right)! It is great now I just ordered the ES roof kit for it and i plan on getting it together for the son for x-mass!
I ordered some LED and plan on doing lights MOD, keyed ignition, remote kill switch, two batteries and exterior charging plug and hope to get working brake light as well! This will be all done later down the road! But, for now i just will be getting him to drive it and if he likes it then the MODs will start!! I have a line on a second battery so far and at least for now i can hot swap between the two until later!

I was sure happy to find this website with so many people with crazy ideas (like i have)! Well just thought i would drop you a line! Take care.....
Im sure ill be posting some questions and/or ideas soon!
Thanks!

welcome here is my gator that has most of what you are talking about doing. http://www.modifiedpowerwheels.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=19348&SearchTerms=gator

80 is a deal for sure. Your kids will have to drive a while to run down that battery. So I wouldn't be to worried about a second one just yet. It should be good for an hour if its in good shape.
