Hey guys, just bought my daughter a pink Barbie Jeep and like with anything I do, I started to look around for mods and upgrades. So far 24V battery upgrade for the motors, added a 12V for stereo, horn and lights and moved batteries under the seat.

Daughter goes crazy for the fast speed and works really well in the yard.

Thanks for all the great information here.

I hope you have a helmet on your kid 24 is way fast. Also something is going to break shortly if you are running stock switches and no softstart via scooter controller. They just can't handle 24 volts for long.

Yeah, I have read about the durability issue with 24 volts. I will add the heatsinks and fans to the motors to hopefully save them. Once they go, I will see about modifying them with better motors. I was going to add the traction modification to it but decided against it to save the gear boxes.
Looking forward to learning a bit more about these things.
Thanks
