Hi Steve can you tell us more or post up pictures are these john deere Peg perego Jeeps?
most rideon's can go up 18v ok but when you go up to 24v motors burn out & gearboxes get stripped.

IF you have a jeep like Darren posted above and you are asking can you swap in parts from a 3 speed Super Gaucho the answer is no. They use a different Floor Pan and other parts. Its not as simple as just changing gear boxes. While teh body looks the same there are lots of parts underneath that are different.

Darren said it you can go to 18v reliably or you can go with a 24v scooter controller setup if you want more volts to relieve stress on motors and gearboxes.

Go with 18v and Dual HPI GT 550 motors, that will give you awesome speed and torque, without destroying your gearboxes.

Search in Google shopping or purchase on ebay. $13.99 or better is a good price. You will need two of them. Stock ones have much lower RPMS

Yes thats them. They are used in RC trucks that use dual 7.2v NIMH battery packs.
