I just doing a quick paint job on our harley to sell becuase my son never really used it & I want to take out the good 21t Gear boxes & replace them with just normal 3inch gear boxes I know it will take a bit of trimming to make them fit but was just wondering if anyone has done this before?

I trimmed and fit a MFJ gearbox which is far larger than a #3 so I don't see why not. But I didn't put back on the exhaust so I can't state that for sure.

thanks for that I ended up puting on some 3#a smaller gearboxes & they fiting right on without any trimming . But when only the foot pedal is pushed it goes really slow! much slower than it use to go with the old gearboxes it was fine when the fast button is pushed.
