Hi all,

First time poster and never MOD'd before, looking for some easy'ish MODs for the Walmart Police Dodge Charger:

[img]http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/03/86/75/10/0003867510818_500X500.jpg/img]

This ride-on features all the details of a real Dodge Charger Police Cruiser, including flashing lights, siren sounds and police scanner clips. There's even a working megaphone PA system. And just in case he's not quite ready for hot pursuits at 5 mph, there's a parent-lockout control to keep him down to 2.5 mph in forward and reverse. Just don't be surprised if he sets up a speed trap at the end of your driveway.
•12 volt Dodge Charger Police Design
•Working flashing emergency lights and siren
•Megaphone PA system
•Oversized chrome rims and side mirrors
•2 speeds: 2.5 mph and 5 mph forward, 2.5 mph reverse
•Sound effects include engine ignition, engine revving, police scanner clips and siren
•Large wheels with MaxTrax rubber traction strip
•Includes 12 V battery and battery charger
•Initial charge time is 24 Hours
•Run time is 2 Hours + depending on weight and terrain

Well, I would say that your first mod would be take it to 18 volts by adding a 6 volt battery in series with the 12v; however, I do not know what this will do to your lights and or siren. Shouldn't hurt it, but I don't know for sure.

If you have a kids trax car(which i think that one is), dont put anything more than 12volts to the mother board. You will most likely damage your board and car is no longer run. Best way to increase power is unfortately, get yourself a pw harness or comp. setup and re-wire. and if sound is important to you then add another 12volt bat. would use a lesser AH battery just because of space issues.

If you are going wild.
Revire and put in 3x12v with scooter controllers. 24v for the scooter controller and 12v for the rest of the flashing gadgets.
