I bought this 12V Peg Jeep Apache from todall, a MPW member, within the last 2 months for a really great price. Please see http://www.modifiedpowerwheels.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=18377 for more details regarding the deal that I got. The previous owner had completely rewired it. The shifter no longer works. It goes forward in only high speed, and does not go in reverse. As far as I am concerned, that is fine. I bumped this one up to 18V. It has tons of space under the hood for extra batteries. Using a GPS (not Gruber Power ), I clocked it at 8.3 mph with my 3 1/2 year old son riding it. I believe this is the fastest 18V ride on vehicle that we have right now.
