I drove about two hours and 30 minutes round trip from my house to purchase this 12V Dumar Yamaha Raptor 660R Quad from a craigslister for $60. It came with a working battery and charger. I need to be more diligent about thoroughly inspecting ride on vehicles before I hand out the cash. I didn't notice until I got home that the high/low switch was not working. It was staying only in low speed. I probably could have gotten the seller to go lower on it. He originally wanted $75. Thankfully, I got the switch working flawlessly after disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling it. Everything on it works great now. My son and I really like this one because it looks a lot like a real 4 wheeler. My son says it is his favorite.

It has held up very well. It is my son's favorite out of the 20 or so that we have.

That's not bad for $60 could have been worse. I paid $50 for a power wheels last year, put one of my batteries in pushed the gas all seemed good so I paid him. 30 minutes later got it home my 4YO jumped in and we realized BOTH gearboxes had stripped out gears.

It happens, That 4 wheeler does look in great shape.

Is that the biggest of the 4 wheelers out there?

I'm pretty sure that the Peg Polaris 800 is a good bit larger than this one.

I have 2 of these. yours looks great!!! mine too looked new and I got a Great deal on them but they share a common problem. I think the controller box is a POS!! sorry, I do not approve of bad language but I have had both of these apart, n that is the only answer. I got both to working then modded one into something else. But still to this day it gets stuck in REV, and I can hear a click like a circuit breaker or something. So apart again. Becareful with voltage mods to it will fry your sound box. OTHERWISE, they are heavy but built like a tank!!!! I think your model may be updated to mine, yours has voltage readout, neither of mine do. The motors on these seem very powerful though. If I were you any mods to it? look to bypass box. NOTHING "CONTROLS" MODMOM,lol( cause I don't know how to fix them, lol.)

In the past, I had considered bumping it to 18V, but decided against it since my son likes it fine the way it is. I'll keep that in mind regarding the controller. If I decided to upgrade it, I'll probably rewire it with a PW wiring harness and lose the sound features. Thanks.
