So in a unique twist, I picked up another super6 f150. Plans for it are to silly make it 12v, put on black rims, and paint the steering wheel black. In light of this, the super snake will be going thru some involved changes to give it a specific look.
This little guy is gonna get the engine I painted for the snake and the snake will get a custom made supercharged engine cover. I think I will go with two power wheels 6v in series into this truck due to space issues.
Thinking now that it's a shame I sold my other set of new super6 motors and gbs. I could have made a nice 4wd. Oh well, it saves me from having another vehicle taking up workshop space.
So the truck arrived and the wife found it and sent a nice "WTF" text. I almost dread going home now. I am going to have my little boy put it all together (he is 3) all I am doing is helping hold the drill for the screws.
Well Preston got his truck put together. I tried to give minimal help. Slapped the battery in it and let him take it for a lap around the yard. I then cut into it once he went to bed getting it ready for 12v. Swapped out for my painted cover from the other truck and swapped the mirrors and windows. It kills me that he wanted to keep the steering wheel red. I hate that bright red wheel.

We got some fully charged runs this weekend and I was defiantly happy with the 12v performance. Preston learned power slides and reverse donuts. It was funny to watch.
So this little truck is about to go under the knife. I picked up another set of 21t gear boxes and I will be installing those in the truck in the next month or so. I am torn between the super6 motors or jump up to the spare titans I have or even going with the hpi550s.
Ran across a good deal, so this truck will be getting HPI GT550s but only 12v unless it is slower than the super6 setup. I also decided to go with a Raptor theme.
gotta get some pics, but the 550GT motors on 12v and 21t gear boxes is slightly slower than the over volted super6 combo....that or the batteries werent as charged as I thought.
got some decals printed, need to do lights and a few other things. plan on bumping up to new wires and 18v in this truck this weekend....should be a blast when its warm enough for him to take a spin.
i do but apparently saved them with a non compataible file extension. i will have to find the program, load it, and then resave them. whats your email and i will send them when done.
