I'd part it out.. Selling the lift kit, tires, police light, and sidepipes will easily double your money and you won't have to fix a thing. I think there is someone here looking for that front bumper as well right now..
Heck I'll give you $10 plus shipping for the light and microphone setup.. that's half you cost right there

Not exactly an unbiased observer, are you? I will consider your offer first, if it goes to parts - or if I decide to sell the lightbar and mic and make it a "normal" jeep.
I'm dying to make an Extreme Machine in to a police vehicle with a high mounted lightbar in place of the foglights.. so yes, I'm not completely unbaised..but that said, you would make out on parting for sure~
Or you could keep an eye out for a standard unibody Jeep in better shape and just port the usable parts from the Enforcer over to it. The regular Jeeps tend to be the easiest ones to come by. The lift kit, wheels, exhaust pipes and front bumper on my Sun Jammer all came from an Enforcer that was parted out.
i need a light bar also if turbokev doesnt follow through let me know!

Sorry guys... JD found it in the back yard this morning, and pushed it out to where he could play on it. He pulled the 6v battery from the Lil Red Jeep, and put it under the hood.
I was so proud - even if there's no wiring there to hook it up to!
So I'll be looking for a wiring harness, a second pedal, and a shifter...
With the wiring harness and shifter from navaja77, A PW battery connector from gseric69, some butt splices, and an afternoon of "help" from JD, I've made it as good as new - which is a good place to start working from!
It still needs some cleaning, and sticker residue removed - we'll try to get that done today. 48.8 KB
JD wanted the battery under the hood, like his Escalade, not under the seat. I decided I could live with that, it fit in perfectly, but I'll be adding a restraint (of course) 24.08 KB
The only mod that's done is the brake pedal. Using swhenrik's diagram (minus the parking brake switch for now) and the pedal from Arizona, We have what my son calls "a go pedal and a stop pedal"
I'm actually quite pleased with the way this one came out - although I did consider painting the pedals red for brake and green for gas, then wiping/sanding off the paint on the top of the hexagons... 29.2 KB
Here's the hold down. It's a cinch to install. Just unscrew the two screws in the bottom of the hood comparment that hold the steering module in place, and put the hold down in place using them.
It's an easy design. Basically the weight of the battery pulls the top latch over it and holds it down. I think $4 shipped should cover it if you would like it.
I wanted to do a boost button, but I didn't have the correct relay - so for a few hours, I just set up straight 18v with an extra 6v battery...
Observations:
18 volts is FAST!
I do not have a boost button
Making something that lets my 3-year-old go faster than me was not the smartest thing I've ever done!
JD drives surprisingly well - even down stairs and across the outfield during a softball game!
JD is not driving anything without a remote kill switch!
There is a distinct smell of burning insulation coming from the motors, and half an hour after they stopped, they were still uncomfortably warm to the touch! If we killed the motors, I have a pair of Duratrax 5737's waiting for a new home - but I only got the wimpy heatsinks, and I'm thinking I should just jump right to the ones with fans, and ducting.
Watch those Duratrax Motors if you use them, they are much faster and get a lot hotter than the stock ones. He'll really leave you in the dust if you run them on 18V!

Are they hotter even at 12v? How are they for torque? Maybe I should put them in the Escalade, and leave it at 12v...
(Both the Escalade and the Jeep have 16T gearboxes...)

They run pretty hot on 12V. I'm running them on 12V in one of my McQueens. One of them burned up, and I replaced it and added heatsinks. They are pretty fast on 12V, maybe a little faster than a Super 6 on 12V. On 12V they don't have as much torque as a Standard PW motor on 18V though.
Pulled out the spare 19T's (thanks Hootie!) and put the new Titan's in.
Took a little work to make the pinions align - I actually had to put them on "backwards" - with the set screw away from the motor body - but after that it fit together perfectly
Then I put the 19T gearboxes in the Jeep, and crimped on the bullet connectors (I'll go back and solder them next time I'm in there)

I'll add a set of fans to the bay before we boost the voltage.

JD took it around the back yard at 12v and it has plenty of traction, and almost the kind of speed it had at 18v.
Once I get the *real* roll bar built, I can't wait to see it at 18v again
We took it to the park today. Drove to and from at 12v, then after driving around at 12v, I connected the second battery and let him rip around at 18v.
WOW!
I seriously think we're almost as fast at 12v on the Titans and 19T gearboxes as we were at 18v on the stock motors and 16T's. And after a 15 minute drive to the park, I popped the seat open and the motors were warm, but not much. I could grip them tight enough to pick up the jeep without feeling like I was getting branded on my palm
Here's the 12v video (we were actually leaving, so this is after over an hour of driving)
The 14AH Powertron battery lasted all the way home, bogging down as he turned up the driveway.
Here's when it was running at 18v
After almost an hour of this, I checked the motors, no burning smell, warmer than at 12v, but still not too hot to handle.
Next, lights, polishing, and a paint job to turn the yellow parts silver. And add the Aftershock motor to the hood
I think I'll have to do some more rewiring, and have a real roll bar fabbed up, but we may see 18v normal, and a 24v NOS button..
I got an Aftershock motor in less than good condition.
I had to reinforce the cracked mount, then painted it with Rustoleum Hammered Silver: 17.44Â KB

And I used l3viathan's trick with chrome (Gloss black for plastic base, when barely dry apply the shiniest metallic silver. I used Valspar this time): 44.55Â KB
There are actually reflections!
Edited to add l3viathan's name - he shoewed us the black under silver trick, from another website.
I was going to do the black/sliver - but then Totrod669 did it, and it came out really nice, but around here, if I did that paint job I'd have to put "Oakland Raiders" stickers on it.
So I'm going with blackout for everything but the exhaust and the engine
I'll trade you a black back bumper for your yellow one. Might have something for the front to. I've been lookin for some yellow stuff and since your painting it....
Cant wait to see that motor put together!
Drive it like you stole it!........out of somebody's garbage!

Sure! I just ordered the black front one from Hootie - but I'll happily trade the back bumpers You got a pair of unmatched side pipes you'd like to swap, too?
Good looking Jeep Div... I couldn't resist anymore and I let my oldest take the Gator Jeep out for a test drive the other day. After some encouragement he was all over it.
I have those same yellow bumpers on my Sandblaster and I'm at a loss. I painted the body and hood red... then I stalled out. Want to do something different but my creative juices haven't been flowing as much....... and it's cold in the garage.
Some progress today - at least until my wife and kids got back from visiting Gramma
I tried to black out the "timing belt cover", to break up the red. And discovered that I could still leave fingerprints in paint that was too "dry" to come off on my fingers.
But here's a preview: 45.73Â KB

The holes for those screws were drilled with the stickers still in place.
When I showed JD the motor, the first thing he said was "Snotrod has one of those!" I told him it was going to go on his Jeep, and he said "And I will peel those stickers off!"
They didn't look horrible, but they were peeling... 55.93 KB
I'll pack up that bumper this weekend and put it in the mail Monday. Send me your info.
I Don't have any available sidepipes or I would take you up on that offer too
How much do you want for the yellow front bumper? How about I pay all the shipping and you throw it in? You get the black one for free that way. Email me tonight and we'll come up with something.

I just emailed Hootie, and he has some side pipes.
If you buy them from him, shipped to me, I'll throw in the yellow side pipes, yellow front bumper, and I even have the canteen/gas can holder. (You're still paying shipping?)
Any interest in the yellow tube windshield? JD doesn't like it anyway...
I was able to clean up the paint a bit - I sprayed into a small paper cup then used a small brush to stipple the paint over the fingerprint.
Then, after drying, screwed in the remaining screws - and I used the same types to secure the motor, so they all looked the same.

Somebody likes the new motor! 93.21 KB
He believes that's why "My Jeep can go sideways, like the blue car." (I'm not sure if that's a reference to a video I've shown him, or Doc Hudson!)
I plan on running a couple resistors and diodes to reduce the power from the "ignition" circuit to 3v, to give it a nice, rumpty-rump idle, then when the pedal is pushed, he should be sending closer to 9v to the motor, making it run faster
WOW SUPER nice job on the chrome paint I cant get any to work that good for me,so what is the trick? Here is a shot of my daughters barbie jeep gone aftershock.

I saw it - now you have me re-thinking my engine mounting! Glad I have a spare black hood...
I showed what paints I used, and the method, above.
I sanded it down with 300 grit, wiped it down, sprayed the plastic paint gloss black "almost too thick", then an hour later hit it with the shiny stuff.
I did notice that the scoop got LESS shiny when I added a second coat of silver to cover an oops, though.
Some of you have noticed the missing reflector on the Jeep's fender. 51.98 KB
I had this idea of putting LED's behind them, but the first one shattered when I tried to remove it. I planned on cutting up a trailer reflector to fit in the spot, with LED's behind it, when I saw these at Wallyworld. 51.45 KB
But I hated the chrome ring. I planned on sanding it down and painting it black, when I noticed the size of the actual amber part... 49.06 KB
So I carved the holes along the edge, using an X-acto blade and Dremel - and the hole in the middle for the connector to go through. 50.4 KB
It still didn't quite fit, so remembering Modmom32's advice, I just dremelled it! 61.69 KB

Final test fit - It stays in place without glue, but I'll apply a layer of silicon anyway. (I can remove that later, if I need to replace a lens) 54.83 KB

I too shop at Wally World, quite often, and saw their selection of LED trailer lights. Hard to pass up preassembled LEDs. I bought 4 red ones that were on clearance last week for $5 each. I also picked up some toggle switches while I was there. Nice work on your Jeep so far.
